How many servings from a bottle.
How many servings you get from a bottle: total volume ÷ serving size.
Standard wine pour is 150 mL (5 oz); a 750 mL bottle gives 5 pours.
This is a standard party-planning calculation — knowing servings per bottle is the first step to figuring out how many bottles to buy for a given guest count and event length.
750 mL bottle at 150 mL per pour = 5.0 servings.
Wine 5 oz (150 mL), beer 12 oz (355 mL), spirit shot 1.5 oz (44 mL).
1.5 L magnum ÷ 150 mL = 10 pours.
A common rule of thumb is about half a bottle per guest for a few hours of moderate drinking — adjust up for longer events or down if food and other drinks are also served.
